"Completely Smooth and Painless Transaction"
"Now that things have settled down, I wanted to say once more what a great job you did in finding me this house. My friends at work were shocked to find out I bought a house in the middle of a trial since they knew how stressful and all-consuming this trial was. Yet by the time they found out I was shopping around, the transaction was nearly complete - smooth and painless! I'm actually at the point where I'm hanging pictures on the wall so that should give you an idea how settled my daughter and I are. Everything I had in the rentals fit in the new house, with room to spare. The house is as charming as I wanted, and the way the sunlight streams in all day is just glorious! When we moved in, there was a welcome letter from the other realtor, who had some very kind words about you. Once again, great job! You are the Best!"

Cosmetic Improvements >Lighting Up the Sale
Lighting is an important factor to take into account when you are selling your home. Natural and artificial lighting can create a mood that buyers notice when they walk into your home, so don't overlook this significant factor which can favorably influence a potential buyer.
Before your house is shown, walk through each room with an eye to creating a pleasant ambiance through lighting. Accentuate the natural light by keeping curtains open and windows sparkling clean. Arrange your furniture to take advantage of the best view. You may want to install indirect lighting to highlight a vaulted ceiling or to draw attention to indoor plants. Dimmer switches can create simple and inexpensive lighting appeal. Place a lamp and table arrangement in a dark alcove or corner to brighten up the area.
